Small Snakes

Corn Snake



Corn snakes are normally 24 to 77 inches long. Corn snakes are usually orange or brownish yellow with large black edged spots. Also on their bellies they have a pattern that makes farmers think of  corn or crops. Corn snakes live underground and in trees and sometimes go to abandoned buildings to find food. Corn snakes eat lizards, tree frogs, mice, rats, birds, and bats. If you were hunting corn snakes you would need a good eye because these  snakes hide under many things.


Coral Snake 


Corals snakes are snakes that mimic the color of milk snakes. Coral snakes are venomous snakes. If you want to see if the snake is a milk or coral snake look at the pattern carefully. Red next to yellow can kill a fellow red next to black is a friend of  Jack's. Coral snakes grow up to be 20 to 30 inches long. Coral snakes eat lizards frogs and other snakes.

Burmese Python

Burmese python are one of  the biggest snakes in the world They go to 20 to 30  feet in length. Burmese pythons can smell very very good. Burmese pythons eat rabbits,mice,rats, and birds. Burmese pythons are able to swallow prey with their hinged jaws. Their mouths open five times the size of their heads!

Anaconda

Anacondas are big and heavy snakes that live in South America in water. Anacondas are normally  dark green have 2 rows of black spots and white marks on the sides. They eat fish, turtles, caimans, capybaras, pigs, jaguars, and deer. Anacondas live to be 12 years in the wild and 30 in captivity.
